cool, cause i just got a galant vr4 block....im planning to rebuild it and "learn as i go". what kind of tranny's can i use? 1g awd or fwd? 2g awd or fwd?

Get the galant tranny steeper gears!

No option of factory LSD, unless he's rich as heck, he probably can't do a rebuild, buy a new tranny with LSD. I'd say look for a VR4 tranny if you want better gears, go for a 1g 6 bolt tranny if you live anywhere that has snow. Wait, this is Minnesota... scratch the first option.

galant tranny's are hard to find. ill probably go with 1g awd tranny.

Only first gear is taller in the gvr4's, 35mph, just find a good dsm tranny.
