Yea, for most people the options are 16G, maybe 20G, 50-trim, 61mm or something huge. Most of the time nowdays people skip the 60-trim and 60-1. The 450HP that PTE rates that turbo at is way underrated compared to how they rate the 60-trim. They are just going off inducer size, not how well that compressor wheel is really known to perform. You could make over 450whp on a Dynojet with that turbo but they only rate it at 450hp flywheel, while you will never hit 580whp with the 60-trim. John LaCriox made a lot of power with a 60-trim, but I think he had a T3 .82 A/R version. It is hard to make power with the small Mitsu exhaust housings.

Yup, .82 a/r, shitty ic setup. 519fwhp, S-afc, 532fwhp EMS.
That was on as much boost as the turbo would make though ;).

But that was with a horrible mani that ran exhaust backwards...there was a bit left.

This is off my own topic, but when I spoke to Jim @ PTE about the upgrade, I told him about my boost leak at the compr. cover. I asked him why they don't use o-rings between the cover and the backplate. He said actually they do. Guess what? Mine never shipped with an o-ring. Somebody forgot to put one in.

It's a pretty nice boost leak. How much it's affecting me, I don't know.

If I knew I could get about $450-500 for my less than 2 year old 50 trim AND if the 2g block would hold up to a SCM61, then I'd maybe sway for that route.

Is it internally gated? What is your timeframe if you sell it? I may want one for around $400 before winter.
