I was wondering if it was legal to raffle off a car that I own. If it isn't I would have the drawing next year at the cookout. Some of you may know that my car is forsale in this forum and my asking price is $12500. So if I held a raffle I would need about 2500 people to buy tickets @ $5 a pop. I think it would give alot of people a chance to win a great almost stock car for a cheap price. Just think about this $5 for $12500 Id gamble at that. LMK what you guys think or if Im just an Idiot.

Sounds like a sweet deal actually.
It just depends if you'll get 2500 tickets sold. $10 a piece = 1250 needed to meet your price. Plus profit if you go over 1250.

Id probably buy a ticket for shits and giggles. Plus you could put it on like ebay and say that you are buying one ticket for a raffle for this car and have a BIN price at $10 or $5 or whatever. Im sure a bunch of people would be interested.

I think it would work but you may have a hard time selling all 2500 locally. You could put like 10 tickets on ebay in 1 auction and probably get more than $10 apiece.

Damn, I'd buy a whole grip, like 20 tickets or so! Up my luck! I think it's a cool idea if it does go through!
