Anybody have any helpful hints or tips for me when I go to cut my front bumper? I'm getting rid of the lip that hangs in front of my fmic. How did you do it? What kinda of cutting tool did you use?

Jig-saw, saws-all, high speed grinder with a cutting wheel will work well. I used the high speed grinder with a cutting wheel/disc.

Just don't go crazy, take your time.

Yeah, I used a cutting wheel. I must have test fitted the bumper 20 times. Take your time or you will end up taking more than you want off. Also wear a respirator, the particles burn the shit out of your throat if you inhale them, probably real toxic too.

Did you guys cut it out or just grind it down? So far I've been griding the middle spot and the 2 side vents down.

I left the black strip in place, just removed everything behind it. I also only removed enough of the front bumper opening to fit the i/c. No gaps around the i/c-bumper opening. It does require a lot of test fitting.

I used a pneumatic die grinder with a cutting wheel. I'd recommend masking off the general area that you're going to cut, since the paint tends to peel off next to where you're cutting. I wouldn't grind, rather sharpie a line that you want to cut on the masking tape and follow that. Also, wear some kind of inhalation protection as stated before.

i used a die grinder with a cutting wheel, and a little jagged knife. You're cutting plastic, it's not rocket science. Just use whatever you got laying around that will work.

The easiest way i have found (much easier and cleaner then using power tools) is simply a sharp as hell utility knife. It cuts through poly so easily. I tried using the cutter wheel and it just seemed to sloppy, the utility knife cut it in simply two strokes. so beautiful.

I got it done with a grinder and it worked really well. I'll probably die a little earlier from inhaling all those fumes even though I wore a mask.
