I have been running 100% e85 daily(about a month now). The last time I dyno'd it put down 465whp on 21psi(90 degrees in our shop). I can tell a difference between the E85 and 92. I like the way the car daily drives on 92 without a doubt, but for racing E85 pulls pretty good at 22psi. I can't get much more out of it as I'm maxing out the 2g mas. My mod's are: built 2.4, fully ported head, 1mm oversided valves, scm 61, afcII and I've got a 255, and rc 1000 cc injectors. massive front mount (core is 26x12x4!), 3 inch intercooler piping. blah blah blah... E85 rocks for a cheap form of race gas!

Ok cool, i will try the 50/50 tmrw. I have 650cc injectors i bought them oversized so i could try e85 on my E316g i have never gone over 65% duty cycle in wot so i think i'm safe.

What is your global fuel set at currently, I am going to guess around -29%? I wouldn't go any leaner than around -18%-19% on the global with 650cc and a 50/50 mix. Be sure and watch the duty cycle from there. Good luck!

Jim, what dead time are you using? I've tried everything from 120 to 450 and 150-180 seems to be the happy medium to get the Low and High LTFT close. My global is at -53% which is way off what I calculated it should be, but even at that it's still adding +12% for the fuel trim at cruise. Obviously somethings off on my setup and I think my AFPR is part of the problem because I can't the base pressure to stock levels at idle. The 02's cycle, but more like the car is having a heart attack then a nice even oscilation. It'll jump up to 18:1, down to 12:1 and randomly hit everything in between.

I just need to put some more time into diagnosing everything. I've maybe spent 8 hours total this whole year working on the Talon. The Evo's just a funner car to drive, period. But I did get somewhat excited to see the Talon put down 350 torque at 4000 RPM, maybe there's hope for the car afterall. ;)

SAE correction takes care of the 90 degree temps. With E85 the car won't be as affected by higher temps either. Cars that run 100% ethanol or methanol usually don't even run intercoolers.

I can't get much more out of it as I'm maxing out the 2g mas.

Have you removed any of the honeycombs yet or hacked the MAS? I was able to make more power than that when I had a 2G MAS and SAFC. If the car is leaning out a lot, the Walbro 255 is possibly maxed. Do the math on when a 255 normally maxes on normal gasoline versus a fuel that requires 30%-35% more fuel flow.
