What do most people do for the tps sensor when you use a new power products 86-93 mustang throttle body? Do you rig the stock sensor in the throttle body or can you splice some wires and tap in the one the throttle body comes with???

Most people don't use a different throttle body, unless they are making over 600whp. It is easy to setup stuff like that with the AEM EMS though.

You just splice the wires into the Ford TPS that comes with the TB. I've got the diagram around here somewhere, or can just go look at my car for the colors.

The output voltage might not match the volts of a stock DSM TPS. That can be a problem with the stock ECU.

That's true. I just programmed it in the EMS, might be tougher with a stock ECU. I think it's the same 0-5V scale though.

what if the tps sensor thats in the stang throttle body goes from 0-5v, wouldn't it work?

A little signal conditioning and any voltage issues you may run in to could be easily taken care of.

how did you guys get the throttle cable to work on the stang throttle body?

I welded on the DSM cable receiver onto the PP shaft and used a Lokar universal cable. You also need to put a bolt and nut on the TB for a throttle stop. Adjust it so the blade is all the way open.
