Are you sure you don't like it? I'm sure there's a way we can graft it on to the front of your car. :D
I'm getting pumped to go pick this thing up. I'm going down there on Thursday night, and I'll have a nice long weekend to work on it. I don't think I'll get it running this weekend, but I'll get a good start on it. We have an ultrasonic parts washer at work, so if I get some rebuild kits, taking care of the carbs should be pretty easy and I will probably save a couple hundred bucks doing it myself. I just have to get them adjusted properly when it's back together. I'll have it running good before the snow falls. :)
Got 'er torn down to the frame and motor. There's some surface rust on the frame that I'm going to touch up, but I wont worry about it too much right now. If I really like riding this thing and want to keep it for a while, I might take it down to the frame and bead blast it and have it powder coated. But that's a winter project. For now I just want to get it running. I might end up getting a new gas tank, but we'll see once I take a closer look at this one. It's a little rusty.
I power washed the whole thing and started polishing all the bits and pieces. I'll work on doing that this week while I wait for a few parts so I can start putting back together. Depending on the tank situation I might have it running in a couple weeks, and it will be like a brand new bike. (well, almost)
Here's a few pics.

Psshhhh, Cruisers... haha jk, it looks nice. My bro had an '86 nighthawk that looked pretty similar to that.
