Anyone have any idea what Twin Cities area Mitsu dealerships are better at honoring warranty claims? I recently bought a 03 EVO and the front calipers paint is comming off pretty bad. The car also has a ABS problem, I'm guessing a bad wheel speed sensor. Any warranty experience with a dealership let me know. thanks

one of the dudes on this board, At-least-its-an-evo, brought his evo to mitsu for the same caliper paint problem. They hooked him up with 3 new calipers!

I think the caliper problem is pretty common. I'd avoid the Bloomington dealer, just cause they fucking suck. Brookdale has always had a really good rep.

Ya from my reading the caliper prob is pretty common. I just want to get it taken care of pretty quick, because I have no idea when the warranty is up, I think its only 3 years for a 03.

There is like a 13+ page post on evolutionm.net about the caliper issue, some dealerships will fix it with out you even asking and some won't budge. A lot of whiney evo owners out there though, I suppose if you just dropped 30k on a car you would expect it to last a little longer than 18k miles (caliper paint that is) Some say its Mitsubishi and some say it's Brembo.

I know its a common problem, what I'm asking is what local dealers are better about warranty work.

Forest Lake Mitsu or Brookdale.
