So I went mountain biking last night with some co-workers, and everything was going pretty good until I put a hole in my chin. Ok, so it wasn't really a hole, but it was a pretty deep cut. Four stitches worth. I was going over a log pile that was probably about 3 feet high or so. On the back side of it, I hit my front tire funny and went over the bars, right into a rock garden. :D I hit my chin on something sharp, and it made a pretty deep cut. I also sprained my left hand.

It seems like every time I get on my mountain bike I get a scrape, or a bruise, or something. I've never had to go to the hospital for it, before last night though. Oh well, You gotta pay to play. :D It could have been worse, so I'm not upset. I'll just have to be more careful next time. Or maybe I should just stick to road bikes.

I know the feeling, well not mountain biking but snowboarding. No stitches for me, but a scare right next to my right eye, a fractured right cheekbone and a tooth that was pushed back a little :D. But those wipes and spills are never any fun, especially when you have to go to the E.R.

Wow that hurts just reading. Where did you go biking by the way, ive been looking to get out more now that its cooling down. I hate paved trails, I like the rough stuff.

This was at Lebanon Hills. It's a pretty fun ride.

I cringed just reading that. Sounds like it could have been much worse, so glad you escaped with only a couple of stiches!

Sounds like you're going to be nursed back to health by the beer fridge? ;)
