So me and iceminion have been building up my car and we could use some suggestions and help getting a new clutch. We got a built 2.4 block and head, and currently have a stage 3 rebuild from shep coming home tomarrow. We're shooting for 4-500hp everday driven and need suggestions on which clutch and who to get it from. I'd do LSE but they're gone till the 18th. Thanks

There could be a huge difference in power for what you said, 500 awhp on a chassis dynamics to 400 fwhp on a dyno jet is a big difference. What turbo are you running?

we are thinking about using a bolt-on ball bearing GT35R.
We are also open to other suggestions, we want it to be oil+water cooled and ball bearing.
That turbo is rated to "~600AWHP" <----note the use of "" and ~
so with that in mind, mugs asperaions of 4-500awhp should be realistic.
for starters (we might change our minds here) we want a lighter more forgiving clutch, to help with the daily-driven-ness of the vehicle. but I know for heavy launching we are going to need something different
LSE has constantly and consistantly suggested the southbend DXD clutch, and im willing to give it a try, the only thing I am worried about is clutch slippage under WOT
So please, anyone leave your thoghts on the matter.
The southbend probably is your best bet. ACT 2600 will be ok for about 450 awhp (dynojet). Twin disk is an option, but spendy ($1100).
