So i just bought this 1991 awd auto talon for like $2500, and it needed a shit load of work, the previous owner just painted everything in the interior with red and white and the body is black cherry so it looks like shit. Me and a buddie were working on it tonight for a while replacing this and that, fixing coolant leaks and doing the timeing, that sorta thing. And he was inspecting the turbo when i was getting ready to put my hard piping on my maf and he notices it is a 16g. The previous own told me it was a brand new 14b. Car should be up and shredding all the ricers tommrow after i get my 510's and regap my spark plugs and change a few gaskets that the previous d-bag made out of silicone.

if I ever ended up owning an auto i would install TCUgo
$2500 is alot, even with a big 16G, the body must be in great shape.

FROM EXPIRENCE:
TCUGo is only as good as the tranny. If you dont feel like replacing your stock transmission DO NOT get TCUgo. lest we forget i blew my tranny after 2 weeks on the TCUgo. Funny thing is, i just went on TCUgo.com and the owner had posted up the thread where i gave a great review of it (before i had the problems) and he linked it to a single post, so the average joe schmo wouldnt know to click "View full thread" and see that the tranny blew after 2 weeks.
Good luck with the Auto, believe me once you get the itch for boost, you will wish you had a manual.
$2500 for a 91 is WAY too much, unless the car is in Mint condition and a Manual, you got ripped off. I bought my 95 with a crap load of mods for $2000.

the body is in perfect condition, and the motor is strong, i just have to replace the power steering rack, tps, and fight chrysler for a new transfercase that has been recalled.

I feel sorry for you that you picked up a 95 even it has alot of mods, but 2k is a great price for the car.
