So, my buddy is talking to me about how awesome his cabin is and telling me about the 2000ft+ AIRPLANE RUNWAY they have, APARENTLY, ITS FUN TO DRIVE ON!
its in Hackensack (zip 56452)
How about a race/drag day followed by some beer and fishing? Since its in the middle of nowhere, and since nobody cares about anything up there, how many of you like the idea of driving as fast as you want (can) and not getting in trouble?
It should be good for 1/4 mile runs, and if some of you are ballsy you could go further.....but how long is required for braking?
There is a swamp at the end, so aside from sinking, the chances of someone getting hurt is slightly less astronomical.
Im thinking september-ish so the air is cool, but before it gets wet/snowy.
What do YOU think? Any takers?

My old gf use to have a cabin in hackensack, where abouts is it?
2000' is short, I would suggest a MAX of 1300' of acceleration.

Hell yeah, as long as its a good stretch i am down. See if you can find out exactly or more info on how long and wide it is.

Well, yeah, if you are gonna get over 100mph in that 1300 feet, I got nothing to worry about, I'll stay in it until about 1850 or so ;)

Doesnt the 3S have an adjustable spoiler on the back? Just put it to max, hit the gas and hope that by the end you are off the ground :) haha.

If you can't get over 100mph in 1300 feet, why bother? :p
I'd stay in it for at least 1320'. Sounds like the exact length of a quarter mile track, it might even have the sand pit at the end.
I keep thinking I should haul my car up to Breezy Point. There's a semi-private airstrip right at the intersection by Breezy, I don't think anyone up there would care if a car made a few runs. I doubt if my car is any louder than a Cessna.
