Kinda reminds me of how it was when I used to live in FL. Lots a rice. Must be some sourthern thing. Maybe cause there is no "winter" to work on the cars?...

In all seriousness, I have yet to see anything decent. Everything has been all riced out! I have seen one mitsu. A 2g with Altezzas. Naturally asperated. It's a bit upsetting. No SRT's, no Evo's, no STi's. I saw one S2k. An old guy driving it though and it looked stock. We'll see what I find. I always find soemthing :)
.. Go to Industrial Blvd I think in Arlington, it's like Midway but x 2

I suppose I could check that out. Back in the day Spring Creek over by the Stonebriar mall in the Frisco/Plano area was pretty good. One stop light with a nice 1/4 mile stretch beyond that.
On another note, it's a bit lonely out here I won't lie. I have managed to catch up with some old friends, but I'm still pretty bored. We partied last night, and, in true Tauni fashion, managed to almost get caught. But still, I'm begining to wonder if this is going to exactly what I thought it would be: a big fucking let down.

Eh, its all what you make of it. I thought the same thing when I went off to college because I didn't know anyone really, and all my high school friends went other places. I was thinking "man I would be having a ton more fun if I was at college with them" which at the time was probably true, but then I met a bunch of really cool people, and now I see their profiles on facebook and they are still partying with the same people from high school and I realize I made the right choice, for me at least.
Things will get better, the first couple weeks might suck, but I am sure you will make friends and meet car people eventually, at least give it some time.

Yah, thats true, I'm sure I will meet people whenever I go back to school. It sucks though, I have no car, no life, and my mom is still super controlling. I don't get it either. I've never gotten in trouble with her and it still seems like she doesn't trust me. I always tell her where I'm going and who I'm with, so it's not like I don't keep her informed, but 19 year old Tauni still has a cerfew. And this "family time" bullshit is getting out of control. I feel like she doesn't get the fact that I'm able to take care of myself and make my own descions, which I have been doing since highschool. I'm going to wait it out though. As much as I would lvoe to come back, I don't think it's polite to get up and leave 3 days after you arrive.
But my dad is supposed to make a special trip down to drop off my stuff. Maybe I will climb in the back of the truck when he leaves.....

Yeah, my parents are the same way, you can ask almost anyone here who knows me (and gives me shit for it :) ) curfews will go away eventually, but unless you are paying rent there isn't a whole lot complaining will get you, accept them offering to let you pay rent.
The only real option there is to move out, or somehow manage to convince your mom to let you stay out, and if you do that, let me know what you said because I need to ditch my curfew shit as well.

Yea I used to have a curfew as well and my parents would always get on my case about staying out late. Somehow after I turned 21 they just stopped caring slowly... which was really weird because I never thought my parents would change on that subject. Now weekends own but I shouldnt be living with them too much longer so that will be good.
You just have to go out and stay out a few times.. or not come home. Its risky but can work if they deal with it right.
