Hey, this isn't as interesting as talking about mid 11 second cars, but take a look and see what you think.

This is one of the BADDEST 10-wide cars. Gentlemen, meet Justin Curry's '68 Camaro...."Robin".

It doesn't corner very well and it doesn't have A/C, straight line it seems to do ok.

Oh, I forgot to mention that car ran 150+ in the 1/8th mile, yes, 1/8th mile.....as in 4.80's @ 150+ in the 1/8th.....and it's really setup to run 1/4 mile.

When you have a very quick car with steep gears and the aerodynamics of a school bus, the eighth is the way to go. That's probably a 180mph car in the quarter depending on gearing but would be running into some serious aerodynamic hurdles at that speed.

It runs low 7's right at the 200mph mark, all with a 10.5 tire, all steel (except for hood) and 3,400lbs.

We have drag radial cars around here that run just as fast, drag radial class can run a 12" wide radial. Right now David Wolfe owns the drag radial record with a 7.40@197 with a stock suspension Mustang. Yeah, he's from Texas too. :D
