Maaco will do whatever kind of job you are willing to pay for from the $200 spray-over as noted above all the way to a multi-thousand dollar high quality job with multiple layers of clear.

Brandon's $900 job is very good considering the cost.

i work for a Auto Dealer and Macco is horrible paint... if you want it to look like its a tanko toy then yeah go with them if u want some really nice paint go with Lamettry's or Lupient Auto Body. They both stand behind there work and they both do some sweet work for good price. Another shop that i had paint my race car is Redline Finish.. they do better work then macco!

Oh, so you're saying my car is a "tanko toy" ? Get bent. Bring your car over and we can compare who's look better.
If you want some flawless gleaming show quality paint job, well then go pay out your ass for it. I personally drive a 15 year old 1G, that is constantly being worked on and being rubbed up against with air hoses and coolant spilled on it, etc. I wasn't going for a 5 clear coated show paint job. I wanted 1 solid color paint job that looked clean, and that's what I got, and it turned out great. And I gaurantee that anyone who's seen it, would agree that the paint job looks damn good, especially for $900. I'm all about Maaco now!

I hate fresh paint jobs. Everyone I know no later than a week it'll get keyed, scratched, by someone or something. It's not even funny!

I've had some pretty good experiences with Maaco. They did do a bad job once on one of my Civics though.
I had a 96 Civic CX hatch that I painted pearl white for $400 2 years ago. I drove it home......my sister put a big scratch on the front fender. The scratch never peeled anymore than what came off in the first place.
The paint is still the same after 2 years.
That's just one of my good experiences.

Or find an auto body school like mine and get a complete paint job, all the body work and paint for $650 dollars. As for quality, the teachers wont let it leave unless is professional quality. I painted my eclipse with all the body work for $650 they have as a base price for a complete. Pics at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2262708/1
