Yeah i'm down here in MN.. plymouth i believe.. I have the dsm and was cruising around and found nothing at all... i'm only down here for one more day! what is there to do around this area!!? All there seems to be is buisness stuff.

Hit me up if anybody is around here.. we could meet up or something!

I live in plymouth and theres nothing here! You can always stop over tomorrow (or later today considering its 2am) and help me swap in a new alternator!

You want help swapping an alternator? It only takes 10 minutes tops.

I've never done it, so add on at least 1 newbie hour. pm me w/ any helpful hints you might have. I'm just nervous about getting the belts tight after I put the new one in.

Sorry about stealing your thread.

brian, i'd help if my hand wasn't fucked up, but it's pretty easy. Easier yet if you didn't have all the stock shit like PS and a/c. Belt tension is pretty easy to set. it should have very little flex to it. if when you start it up it squeeks, then tighten it some more.

No worries, were doing it at the saturn shop so we can use the lift. Shouldnt be too bad.

A lift is overkill for replacing an alternator.
