I took some decent photos of my car last night, at various locations (stay tuned for the show-off thread) but, I wanna know what software I can make my signature picture with. I wanna fade 2 photos together, sorta blended, but the photoimpressions software that came with my canon camera doesn't have that feature. What does everyone use, and how do you like it? Anyone have a trial version or a place I can get it for free? I am not really in a place to go buy photo editing software, as I am not into it that much just yet. Thanks for the help.

If you are looking to morph pictures together there is a program called winmorph, you can downlowd that for free. But if you are just looking to alter the pictures then photo shop is good.

I would go with photoshop. If you are unsure of any particualar editing tools or ways to do something in specific use the tutorials or the help. I am going for my AAS in multimedia which is all about that. pm me if you have any questions.

If you want to send me some pics, I am pretty decent with photoshop (I have won a couple forum wide contests) and would be willing to do some stuff for you real quick, and if you like it, I could tweak it a little bit to your liking.

Just PM me, or post the pics or links up here and I would be more than happy to do it for you because practice makes perfect.

I suggest Paint.net for all of your photo editing needs. It's free, of course.

I second that. Works great and there is a forum for it with a ton of tutorials to learn how to use it.

If you want something almost as good as photoshop, but free, check out The Gimp. Works pretty nice. I like photoshop a bit more, but you can't argue with free!!
