AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!. more frustration.
Get a quartermaster and be done with it. They stand behind their clutchs very well. Tim fucked up 2 disks and they replaced them for free if I remember correctly.
Call Adam from Devo Tuning. Well worth it in my opinion.
Good fucking luck getting ahold of him! I have 4 messages to him and no reply. I doubt I will make the dyno day. I stripped the splines out of my QM twin disk also. 450 miles and 8 launches on it.
He has had my clutch since last Friday and now won't return my calls.

You can actually build your own clutch, and order the parts separately. The flywheel comes from PTT, and the clutch and disks are standard QM stuff you can probably order right from them.

Well, that's not the point. The mere fact is, the first time around, tilton was a bitch about this, saying "we will help you out". After cher forked over mucho dollar for the first replacement disc, and everything was hooked back up correctly (first time around, a tranny alignment pin/dowel thing was missing). This time around, with so few miles on the tranny, tilton isn't doing a damn thing for the car. they say "we helped you out a lot the first time it happened, but now we won't do anything". Geovanne @ Titan was working with Cher to take care of the situation, and help the poor guy out (props to Titan). Tilton only helped the little bit they did (cher still paid for the rebuild) because their leg was twisted soo much. So now, it's buying a rebuild kit, and selling the clutch. A company may only be as good as their products, but you are also only as good as your services provided to the customer. Tilton's customer service is really lacking, and it's rather disappointing to hear, when you spend $1400-1600 on a clutch that lasts for 2 weeks. Quartermaster is next.
