I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get quality service for a good price for a turbo (T-28) rebuild. I am unsure of the normal price range, I'm thinking around $200?
Local is preferred, but its fine if distant too.

I'll second FP, otherwise there is a place called Diesel Components in Burnsville that will do it.

Send it to FP and have it "tweaked".

He means making it bigger than a T-28. I would try to figure out what is actually wrong with the turbo before buying it to get rebuilt. If the whole center section is toast, it might cost about as much for a rebuild as they are new. Diesel components is on Burnsvill and I have been told they do good work. I havn't had a turbo rebuilt by them because the ones I had that were blown cost about the same amount to get a new one as it cost to rebuild it.

Call around to any shop that specializes in diesel repair. They will laugh at how small your turbo is but they know turbos better than most.

arlan at diesel components knows what he is doing and is probably the one to talk to. I would refrain from getting it unless you know exactly what is wrong with it.
