I might be going to Wisconsin for the 4th. Does anyone know where they sell some fireworks for cheap? I'm not looking for crappy bottle rockets or those "snaps" either. I want mortars/shells, roman candles, etc. But I don't want to get charged an arm and a leg. Where do all of you get your fireworks?

Theres a place in Baldwin right off 94E in Wisconsin that sells some good stuff. Right as you get off the freeway theres a place by the dairyqueen.

Phantom Fireworks is a nice place to get fireworks. A couple years ago they had a buy 1 get 1 free on ANYTHING in the warehouse. Not sure if they still do that, but it was a great deal. I got a 300 piece fireworks set for $99 and got another free, so it was pretty much only about $50 :D.

Fireworks City always has the "buy one and get the 2nd for 99-cents" deal.

Yep, fireworks city FTW.

Get fireworks, do the buy one, get one $.99 deal, then stop by the A&W across the street for some corn dog nuggets and a root beer float.

Be careful though, I heard a story on the radio where a dude went to wisconsin for a bunch of his buddies, and bought $600 worth of fireworks, got busted with them in Minnesota and could face felony charges due to the amount of fireworks he had. So if you are buying in bulk, hide 'em good.

That place is the best. They make you pay a fee to purchase there though. It is small and I think it is a one time fee so it is definitely worth it. That was a couple of years ago anyway.

Does Wisconsin have the virtually limitless fireworks sales that Missouri has? I've always gotten mine from Missouri and it seems like you can get shit big enough to take down a skyscraper if you wanted.

Wisconsin has limitations on what they can sell. I am not sure what but I dint think it would be worth the drive to go to Missouri from MN. You can have enough fun with the Wisconsin shit.
