i leave to go back to school on monday so it will be at least a month untill i need it done. ill get ahold of you when im ready.

$20-$30 , I can do it pretty much any time.I'll include a capacitor R and R in the price if needed.

Nash, are you just waiting for the socket? I just got in a shit load of different sockets, I can't remember the pin config on the DSM ecu, but I probably have a socket for it.

Hey Eric, they are 28-pin chips.

Out of curiosity, where do you live? I might have an ecu for you to socket as well since I don't have access to the tools anymore...

What exactly do you guys mean by socket an ecu? Just curious since I don't know...

The chips in the ECU are permanently soldered in place, when you socket them, you remove the chip and solder a socket in its place, and the chip gets plugged back into the socket.This allows the chips to be easily removed and replaced.I live in St Paul Park, and I have a whole rail of 28 pin dip sockets.
