So, i got these cams.....looks like they are the same thing, they are HKS RM005 (intake 272)....what should I do? do you know anybody/anywhere where i can trade/exchange one for another? they are both sealed in the bags they came in.....
Well where did you get dees cams from? My 1st guess is that you didn't look to buy 2 intake cams. But that's just my first guess :D

I found myself in the rare position of taking everything in the "DSM BOX" for $240....I couldnt pass it up....also with these cams came skunk2 adjustable timing gears....I dont need them, but i figure I could sell em for something....
so it looks like someone else ordered the wrong cams (2 of the same thing)
both stickers on the boxes are identical.
so yeah, it would be nice to have a complete cam set for a dsm.....but since these things retail ~$300 a piece, if i have to sell them off and not end up with cams in my car so be it. just wondering what people here would do if they were in my position

Find someone in the market for new cams and have them buy 2 exhaust cams and you can trade.

good idea.... a followup question is what exhaust cam should I get?
It looks like you can get both 272 and 264 for Exhaust and Intake......I have the intake ones, so do you buy matching exhaust cams? is 272 like a L2? and a 264 is a L1? do you mix-and-match?
I was told by someone once that cams are the very last thing you upgrade on your car....with that in mind -AND- in addition to the fact that they are expensive has kept my intrest in them at zero......therfore I dont know anything about em....aside from "lumpy idle" and "loads of high end hp"

Turboed cars are all about getting more air in and more air out. The 272's open earlier than the 264s i believe, which allows more air in which gives you more power. I'm in the market for a set of cams, And I was looking at getting a set of 272's so I'll keep you posted.

Match your cams, get a 272 exhaust.
