1G BOV question.. [Archive]

So my BOV was compresser srugeing. So I replaced it with another one. But I was looking at my old on and saw that the smaller hole was covered with RTV (didn't have a gasket) Could this cause the problem?

Buy a gasket and find out!

Probably, you should clean out the hole and put it back on and see if it works.
