i have a non turbo 1g converted to a turbo. its the 2.0 and im runnin a 14b. i was in 2nd and i hit it and i was pushin around 10-11 psi when i heard what sounded like a coupler blowin off (which know i think was detination in one of my cylenders) so i pulled over and when i pushed in the clutch it died. all the couplers were still on and when i started it back up it started smoking outa the breather filter and outa the oil cap hole. i was leaning towards a cracked piston,at first i thought it was the rings but i havnt lost any power which makes me think cracked piston. just wondering what everyone else thought. any feedback would be helpful

I have the same problem almost to the T and I have no idea what happened... I was driving shifting gears sounded and felt like a coupler broke off and pulled over to the shoulder pushed in the clutch and it died. Only thing with mine though is it was overheating at the same time... If an admin wants move my thread but if not I just gather up the info you tell him and go off of that... car is a stock 95 GSX

I say do a compression test. Seems like you guys have some blow by since smoke is coming out of your breather.

if its valve seals would it lower my compression because theres not much space inbetween the valves and the head. does that sound right or no? ill do a test soon and get back to u, thanks
