I got a new car 2 days ago. I decided to drive it around for a few days before I posted up about it. So far I think this car is the best purchase I have ever made. The car is a 2004 Pontiac GTO M6. It had 12000 miles on it.
Specs:
LS1 (350hp, 365ft lb)
6speed (Tremec T56)
IRS
That about says what matters. The car handles awesomely until the limit, at which point it is kind of unresponsive, which I'm sure will be party fixed after some suspension and better tires (has BFG KDWS's stock).
The interior is awesome, a huge stretch from typical pontiac. It has a different cluster, a different brand audio system, different knobs, different vents, you know, stuff pontiac would never do.
Torque is something I am now addicted to, possibly more than a spooling turbo feel. RWD is awesome, and I would say in the fun department it easily tops AWD in the summer.
The car has a 05 hood and 05 front bumper, so it really doesn't look much like a cavalier.
