The guy with the super clean black Conquest won over all cleanest car, but didn't get a trophy for the conquest class? A guy with a super clean EVO with more mods than most didn't get a trophy, but the guy who put the mitsu rali art stickers on his otherwise stock red one did? The top 2 2G's were pretty ricey both with body kits.

If you win "cleanest car overall" you can't win the trophy for the class. Jim's Conquest would have easily won with 53 votes.

The EVO won because it stands out more. A lot of those EVOs look a like because they are so new, the paint jobs are all in good shape. Long's EVO just stood out more. I was pleased with the way the trophies went.

Thanks to everyone who came out. We had 142 cars there. I'll post more later.....

Hey everyone,

Thanks to all who came out to the Cookout. It was a great event. We had 142 cars in the show. I especially want to thank all the volunteers I had this year. Chris D, Ross, Andy P, Dave, Steve, Matt D, Ed, John S, Oskar, Mike W and of course Stacy. You were all part of the success of this event. I actually had time to go look at the cars and enjoy the afternoon.

Also a big thanks to LSE Performance and Brookdale Mitsubishi. If you wonder why this Cookout is so cheap, our sponsors are the reason why. (or maybe its because I use bricks and duct tape to create signs) ;)

Anyways, here are the pictures from the Cookout:

Who won cleanest 1g? I was really wanting to place in that category, but well I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Best 1g went to some unknown guy with a very nice GT42R setup. Jason Leasure or something like that.

Booo. I really wanted to make it but had it on my calendar as Sunday, not Saturday. I couldn't bow out of a golf game for my buddy's birthday. I guess I'll start shining up my car for next year.

Super Bleeder!!

Meh, technicalities. It was big, nonetheless.

Thanks Curt & everyone who made this event happen.
It's fun to see all the cars and the time their owners put into them.
Yes "EVO's" are becoming the hottest new ticket....we saw the signs at the DSM Shootout this year. What will next year bring???
