This weekend I will be riding in the MS150 from Duluth to the Twin Cities. For those that don't know, this is a two day bike ride to help raise money for the MS Society to help people living with Multiple Sclerosis, and to fund research for treatments and maybe one day a cure for MS.

The reason I'm posting this is because I'm asking for donations to help reach my pledge goal. If you would like to find out more information about MS, please visit this website https://www.nationalmssociety.org//mnm/personal/default.asp?pa=54435363&pd=MNM0EMS120060610150

If you feel compelled to donate, you can do so online at the same address as above, or you can send me a pm if you would like to make a check or cash donation.

If you don't want to donate that's fine too. I want people to donate because they understand the charity, and feel that it is a worthy cause. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for your help.

-Mark

That's awesome Mark. I'm really impressed that you are doing this ride. I'll definitely be helping, as I've donated every year for this. Good luck on the ride!

Sweetness Mark. Have you biked that much in a similar time span yet or it this gonna be a test for ya?

And when you're finished gimme a write up on it if you want and we can add something for a good cause to the website.

It was awesome. I'm still a little tired, but not too sore (except for my knees). It was all in all a great experience. I would highly reccomend it to anyone. And if you think it sounds too hard, I met a guy with a prosthetic leg, and his 11 year old daughter who were riding in this event, and are thinking about signing up for the MS150 in Wisconsin later this year as well. If these guys can do it, then just about anyone can.

I'll have more to post later. Gotta get back to work.

Wow, a huge thanks to everyone who contributed (Jana). ;) I met my pledge goal, with a little help from myself. :o But more importantly, the team I was on, met our fundraising goal of... Can you guess?

$75,000!!!

I don't think the final tally for the event has been totaled yet, but on the website, it says that it's approximately $2,000,000 for this one event. Today is the pledge deadline, so the numbers should be finalized in the next few weeks.

Anyone up for doing this next year? I'm already signed up. If it sounds like too much, there's also a shorter ride in May of either 30 or 60 miles. I'm probably going to sign up for that one too. If anyone is interested, or has any questions, let me know.
