well i have heard that some look identical to the intrepid coils but they claim that they are not off an intrepid, who knows tho they would never admit because then you would be able to duplicate it easily

You should sell them, not all of us have a machine shop, but I know alot of people would buy em, if you could sell the whole thing for $80 that would cover your time/parts

or build just the plate and sell that alone, I would buy one for sure, i hate plug wires

yea i dont know exactly how long it took me to build, but that thought has crossed my mind, maybe i will build another one and see how long it really takes

i wonder if they can supply a sufficient spark at 8000+ rpm.
I don't know exactly what coils they use, but my Buschur COP has gone over 8000+ rpm at 30 psi with no mis-fires.

I have read a little about this and most people said they use the 2000+ 300M coils. They dont need to be cut down or modified like the intrepid ones do. I say the plate on ebay going for $70+ alone. Id say there is a big market for the plates. Where did you get the pigtail to plug into the coils?

i got it off another extra coil, but i think i have a source for just the plugs soon

Yeah, the 300M coils are the ones that are used, and that is what I had and gave away.

If you run them with a stock ECU you are probably losing performance. You have wasted spark stock and the coils are made for sequential ignition, so their dwell time probably isn't as short as what you need. I believe DSMlink can do sequential ignition and I know AEM can.

Yeah, half the people who have them don't even know why they really need them... kind of like MAF-T's.

To make a loud PSHHHH sound. Right?
Do the stock inginition system have a waste spark? What is bad about a waste spark?
