hrm, on second thought, I hate NASCAR anyways.

How about this: BAN NASCAR and F1 FOR EVERYONE!

F1 cars have smaller engines, so they use less fuel, right?

how about people stop driving to work. Ride your bike. It would be better for you physically, you'll live longer, enjoy the weather this summer, and you can still race and have fun on the weekends.

Or you could buy one of these. Everyone of you should have these by now, considering the technology has been around for centuries. It makes me wonder...

It will never happen.
"...DaimlerChrysler said it had no plans to mass produce the vehicle, but that some of the technology would show up in future vehicles."

I'd be for this 100% NASCAR is the worst form of racing there is. It's not about driver skill. It's about luck, who gets fucked and who fucks who on the track!

You ride a bike on my 30 mile one way stretch first and see how that goes.

And I can't move across the street from work and the cheapest house in this area is a half million.

ick, see even with the prices the way there are right now I would rather cut expenses elsewhere (eating out, ect ect) and spend the money on premium gas to drive a sportier car that got 20mpg. If I am going to be stuck in the car for hours during each day I want to enjoy it.

Nothing about that car above says "fun sunday drive".

I totally agree. It's time to take old nascar out back and put her out of her misery.

http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/035.html I just found this, 30 miles to a charge and a 13 sec quarter mile. Wait, thats a full second faster than my friends stock dsm that gets 15 miles to the gallon of premium gas. So i charge it up at my home(.50 of electricity?) drive to work and dont even plug it in, drive home and charge it up at night. I want one so bad. Has anyone electric'd a dsm before?

Sorry that electric datsun's records are 12.1 in teh quarter mile and 3.5 to 60. anybody want to go for a sunday drive?

I just started doing this and I think it's great. I realize it doesn't work for everyone, but if you live close to work, and have a bike, why not give it a try.
