My son (2 years old) like’s the car, I explained to him that it was a Ford, but he didn’t care... O.K. I like it as well.

Nice! I know several people who have bought nice cars off of ebay (supercharged vette etc..)and loved them. Good luck with it, it looks beautiful!
only question is if he didn't race it or drive it hard then why did he put race tires on it?
other then that it looks great!

I guess the converts have some different springs in the rear, so the car won't twist as much, these spring can cause more wheel hop, the drag tires help with wheel hop.

This is what I was told, not 100% sure if it's true. Bottomline I have a full inspection WITH a leakdown test schedule before the actual sale.

If everything checks out I'm then going to get 3M's PPF professionaly installed on the front end to protect it from rock chips for the 1600 mile trip back.

Check this out Howie. A kid on MNSC is selling that 3M shit for cheap. I am not sure how much it is to have installed but you could probably buy this, put it on yourself, and save some money.

Like you said, it is for the ride home so who really cares if you dont get it on perfect.
