For those that like Bush, i'm sorry, i wouldn't read on.

Unless i'm mistaken... it's pretty clear.

I can find more if you all want, but i think that says it. Bush wants to work on a program to "Legalize" the already illegal citizens to do the jobs us lazy American's wont. Suprised some of you don't pay more attention to the news BEFORE something becomes a big deal. Oh, btw bush is thinking about using nuclear weapons on Iran. So keep an eye out in the news for this in the future too.
I dont want to start a debate with you about Bush and his thinking but you make it seem like he wants to legalize anyone who wants citizenship. I think, based on articles I have read, that Bush wants to legalize those who are willing to contribute to society.

Americas problem with illegal aliens isnt towards those who work to provide for themselves but against those who are trying to leech money from taxpayers pockets.

Agreed, i don't want to start an argument, and if someone does... take it to PM. Don't take the thread off topic.

I've read several coments by bush and he's made it clear a few times he wants to legalize the citizens in the US because they will do labor that we wont. The country would "Suffer" from the loss, but he wants to make them legal. There was talk, but no draft, of a bill that was going to legalize all current US illegal imagrants and stiffen the boarders.

Also, by legalizing the citizens of the US, they DO contribute, so that's why he wants to do it. More taxes, more money to spend, and better estimation on the population of illegals in the US.

Edit: Following Text

I said i'd try and find a little more, and that's about all i can get in class atm.

So, since there is a limit on how many people can apply for or get citizenship each year, why don't we just increase that number for mexico. then more poeple can come accross the border as legal citizens. does anyone have a problem with that?

No, as long as standards are maintained as far as language and education are concerned. And as long as the current system can support them and turn them into productive members of society.

We all know why they come over here and NOWHERE near as many Americans go there. Standard of living is way better, money is worth more here, there's more readily available and easily accessible goods, blah blah blah; of which nothing is like that in most of Mexico. No one would give a shit IMO if Mexico made it easier to get citizenship there, or at least I haven't come across someone who would ever want to move there.

You are way off Lampshade man, he is talking about raising the limit for the amount of mexicans that are able to come here. Not US citizens to go there.
