I was told the LSE could supply me with king bearings. Is this brand even good or should i go will a different one? Let me know what you guys think.

He needs standard sized bearings I'm pretty sure. You could have him come up to LSE and spec the crank. It needs to be polished anyways. I told him to use king bearings because I'm pretty sure that's the bearing of choice around these parts. Correct me if I'm wrong for some reason.

Why not Clevites? or ACL? They are cheap and do just fine?

What bearings do we use that aren't cheap... This isn't your problem.

Clevites are fine, you just have to double check their machining since at least two sets I've used had rough edges. Not tough to fix, but they more or less should be drop in, you should be inspecting any part you put in your engine whether they have a good rep or not. ACL and King seem to be pretty good.

Yes, we can order you kings. We can get you standards or any size under you need. It would be best to have the crank work done first, then we can mic it and see what size you need.
After all the bearings I"ve played with here and QPR I still perfer Kings and ACL's. The clevites with the burs and the material change-up I do not like, and the oems are usually decent, but not a performance bearing.
