Woot, I would!
So are you still in the south metro area then?
Anyluck on that ECU and that S-AFC?

Still, I know the phone is an advanced piece of equipment. If you need instructions on how to use the phone, or the internet, I am sure they can be found on the internet.
Just a simple "shits broken can't fix it" or "its done, come pay me $$" would have been sufficient.
You were at my house when I opened up the AFC and told you what was wrong with it.I didn't know I was supposed to refresh your memory on a regular basis. How about the 10-20 times we've talked since then when you didn't mention anything about it.

I remember you said it was a pin issue? I do not remember, honestly. I usually forget about things, unless I see a reminder (aka chris putting up this thread about "anyone see lightninggsx?").
Then I recalled that you had a bunk ecu and a s-afc from hell. I didn't mean to bust your chops on it, just wondering if you ever came up with resolutions or are they just taking up space at your place?

Probably moving in with Mike/Raptor ;)
Like I've said before, I hadn't spoke with Mike for a month+ prior to his disappearance, and I lost some tools in that deal.If you mention anything like this again, I'm gonna take that fender and beat you with it.

Ever heard of a joke? Never once have I implied you had anything to do with Mike's dissapearance so don't accuse me of other people's actions.

Now all you gotta do is buy a sweet fox body mustang, and you can be just like this guy.

I apologize if I took it the wrong way, but I don't really find the Mike situation all that funny.

Funny how people jump to conclusions just because he isn't around much on an internet board.Yes, normally that wouldnt be a problem but he had peoples parts and completely dissapeared(sp?). He didnt return phone calls or private messages, just left.

The only reason I speak up in this is because it was my ECU that was returned as a non-working unit. It was tested in 3 different 1g(91-94) DSMs and didnt do a damn thing. It was dead. We tried calling from different phone numbers and there was no response to any messages.

To LightningGSX, I have read you posts for years and have no doubt that you know what you are talking about but if you cant do like you say dont offer your services. Many people have been happy with your work and it is great to have someone in the local community to do this kind of thing but you skipped out and didnt keep in contact with your customers. Hopefully things are going well for you now and hopefully you can stick around to help with the DSM community's electrical problems because there arent to many people that can.

I am not trying to piss anyone off I just hope you realize why people are frustrated with this situation.

Tim

EDIT: Even though the Mike comment was meant as a joke I dont think it was necessary either. That is a whole different topic.

Unless I'm expecting a call, I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.Considering I sent you one of my own ECUs, tested in-car, the very day I shipped it, I was not expecting to hear back from you and forgot about the whole deal.I have/had no desire or need to cheat you out of a ECU.So I apologize for not answering my phone, but I don't apologize for the ECU.And no I'm not calling you a liar, or implying it was your fault.I'm not even going to guess why it didn't work, but I'm sure I'd be pissed if I was in your situation, so if you think it was my fault or I ripped you off, I'll make it right.

There is this awesome technology called voicemail if you are paranoid and feel its nessecary to screen all incoming calls. If you are doing work for people its common practice to be available even after you finish a product incase people have questions.

I am closing this thread before people get more pissed off. Use the PM feature if you want to discuss this any further. Eric if you have peoples stuff still, just get it straight and deal with the people that have been trying to contact you and I will make sure people don't call you out publicly anymore.
