so for a ball bearing turbo, it is better to run it off the head with a restrictor and for a non ball bearing one it is better to run it off the filter housing?
shane- do you mean the oil in the head isn't the cleanest since it is at the end of the cycle? I would think it would be dirtier.

Yep, I missed a word there. I meant it wasn't the cleanest. The size of the restrictor you run depends on where you run the oil feed from.

well here is my reason, i notice oil burning on the outside of the housing leaking from the cartridge..so i know thats where my exhaust smoke is coming from.
The oil is conected from the oil filter housing, not the head.
and i do have my balance shafts removed/turned down
