Hey guys, I am trying to find the police station whatever place where you'd go to talk with someone about taking a traffic violation off the record. This is my first traffic violation in years, and two police officers threw me off on where I can go talk to someone to get it taken off my record *if I drive clean for a year*.

One officer said to go to downtown minneapolis, the other said it could be done at Brooklyn Park.

I got pulled over by downtown minneapolis for being blind at night and also lost. If this was in St. Paul, i'd know where to go, but I hate minneapolis.

Can anyone direct me to the correct place?

Court or the District Attorneys office.

ie. ridgedale library 3rd floor - hearing officer, southdale center hearing officer. etc.
ask them for a continuence because of your good driving record.

yeah, its called a continuance or a stay of judification.

I almost got one for one of my tickets, and the way they explained it to me is that if I drove clean for a year, nothing would happen, but if I got a ticket, I would get pounded in the ass.

If you received a ticket, it should have a phone number to call. Its probably one of the Hennipin county district courts. Ridgedale, Southdale and downtown all have one. You call that number on your ticket and they'll tell you which court building to go to.

later,
Curt

I got that for one of those nazi red light camera tickets. All I have to do is stay under the radar for a year. i'm about 5 months away from it being a year! :) (where's some wood to knock on for pete's sake?)

Yeah, didn't they throw out all the tickets from those things?

no, the city will appeal to the courts, and if they loose, then i can probably have that ticket taken off my record, maybe even refunded, but i doubt that.
