Ok so im in Michagan until thursday, i got to the Avis rental car agency and im talking to the lady when i see this 06 Mustang pull in after just getting washed. I tell the lady, How much can i get that car for the week, She gave it to me for the same price as a Compact car. I was like ill take it. Definatly a change of pace compared to my last 4 rentals.
Its the new body style in Bright yellow with the black stickers that say mustang under the doors. I have to tell you this car is growing on me. It just looks so... damn MEAN. Like it just wants to take a bite out of my leg and continue to chew on me. I took some pics and will post them up when i get home but god damn how could i be falling for this car? ITS A FUCKING MUSTANG. And worse yet its not even a GT, its a fucking V6. But for some reason it still has some balls. If this was a GT this thread would prolly go like "sorry guys but i just sold my car so i could get this mustang"
But yeah definatly a change from the Ford Slocus i had in MN.
so my question is, "Is it wrong for me to feel this way about a rival car to the DSM world?" I feel like my car is gonna disown me when i get back home.

Atleast envy an 03-04 Cobra, not some lame V6. And yes, your car is going to be waiting for you on jack stands when you get home.

I gotta agree. I think newer Mustangs look pretty mean (especially the GT+ models). Ur car is gonna be jealious! :)

Of course it feels like it has some balls... look at what you usually drive.

Buying a V6 Mustang is like buying an NT DSM... it's just a waste. But I do like the new styling.

I drove a 06 mustang in CT, it was a v6 auto, I liked it.

I test drove a new mustang (v6), and was surprised by how much I liked it. I have never (ever!) been a fan of Fords, but this would actually be one I'd consider getting.

Soon after the '05 GT's came out there was one that went into the 11's with a stock engine. I'm usually not a fan of retro styling, but I can't deny that fact that I really like the '05+ GT's.

I know, I just like to give you shit Tom. :P You should go take a V8 for a spin though. Just for kicks.
