I want to see the members of this site vote on what they want. And post up your thoughts/reasons.

My reason to have a sepearte event is to have it as a DSMStyle.com event for our members. Not for everyone in MN3S, MNSC, 507, and the other sites the all mitsu event is posted. We have a large enough member base to have seperate events.

I personally would like to see them seperate because I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and would like to go to the dyno day on Sunday.

Otherwise I can see the advantage in puting them into one day because as we all know, DSM's break. And if we lose to many it may end up canceling the dyno day. With the events in one day, we wouldn't have to cancel the whole thing.

One day we all hang out & check out each others cars, BS, relax, have some beers.

That night we take care of any last minute tuning/wrenching that needs to happen before any dyno event, and have all the extra hands we invited from while we were BS'ing at the All Mitsu day I make a special request from Josh that I need two bottles of NAWZ, and I need them by TONIGHT. We strap it on my ride so it won't top out @ only 145...

Sunday we get down & dirty, see what various cars put down. My NAWZ ride puts down 787whp and everyone is in awe as the motor jumps out of its mounts, wraps a towel around it's waist and screems like a little girl saying, 'F this, I'm outta here!!! I got less abused in the 1G I came out of!'

We all laugh, everyone pays me money on the bets we all made, and then I walk my car home Fred Flinstone style.

Anyways, I mentioned this in the other thread, but I think I'm going to host a party on that Saturday night @ my place in the city, we can do some wrenching in my garage if need be, but mostly we'll hang out & have a good time.

More fun this way! Plus I agree with you, Allan!

That sounds like a good idea Chris... I dont understand why curt was getting all bent out of shape about this. I sure hope he was being sarcastic. Having it 2 days is better than trying to cram everything into 1. Just a combined weekend into 1 big party is pretty cool. I'm game for it.

I think Curt's mostly worried about attendance being hurt at either event since some people will pick one or the other. But I'm planning on going to both, and I like Scheides idea as well!

Maybe a better pole would be which event are you planning to go to?
Saturday
Sunday
Both

I hope you guys can work it out.

Nope, I was being serious. But I also value people's input, so I'd love to hear some more opinions.

I'm not trying to be an ass about anything. Its just the way I feel.

Thanks,
Curt

Man everything will be just fine. This will probably make the turn-out better seeing people from a futher distance (like me) will feel like they are getting more out of the weekend then just a 1 day event. Its hard for people to drive 100-300 miles just for a 1 day even that isnt even dyno related. With it being both days it makes it much more worth it.

I would guess since it a beginning of the year event people will go to both events since most of us have been couped up in a fucking house all winter. If you did both in one day it would just be a big cluster fuck.

I honestly think people with the dsm's will go to both days. Sunday is dynoing, saturday is hanging out. As long as people have a chance to make it out on the "Mitsubishi" weekend, its all good.
