So yesterday i broke up with my g/f of 3 years. I am only 21 and it was just getting too serious for me, i mean i thought that i wanted to marry her in the future and i still think that i do. But i want to go out and have fun too, sometimes with other girls. Its hard cause we were both kinda opposite from each other, i like to dance, she doesn't, i like to drink and party a little, she doesn't. She is allergic to smoke and has anxiety problems (at least thats what she told me). But i don't know. I know that i want to be able to meet new people and not be worried about upsetting someone. Its hard too with no time because of school, homework, and trying to work.
Well thx for the space.

What kind of advice are you looking for? To reassure you that you made the right decision? That's something you have to figure out on your own. You are young though, so you have plenty of time to figure things out.

Just stay away man. Girls are good for two things: spending your money and breaking your heart.

Unless, of course, you can find one that will help you swap out your tranny, those ones are generally pretty decent :)

Just look at your 3 years as experience. I'm only 20, but we are still young. Feelings are fickle, it will change. Opposites don't attract. Do what scheides said, find one that will fix your car, not demand to ride in it.

Hey, that's not what I said! I said find one that will help you fix your car, i.e. get involved with your stuff, not chastise, blame, and hate you for it!

You made the right choice. Find one that actually enjoys the activities that you do. This advice goes great for someone else on this board too actually.

Almost all women are crazy. The reason I say almost is because I haven't met all of them yet.

wow, i didn't expect any response. After being together so long she is actually learning to like what i like. I was in the middle of teaching her to drive a manual, and she does always ask to help work on my car, shes given me $$ to buy parts that i wanted/needed. She is willing to learn/try the things i do, but whatever.
Just trying to give you guys 2 sides of the story.
I think that i will try to stay single for a while before i make any decisions. I called her last night and she said that i should call her in a week.
Thanks to all, you guys rock!
