I have a sanota block looking for a purpos, and have a few questions.

1. Could I use the 1st gen stock pistons? And what rings would I need to seal it up. Also what compression would that yeild. If not were can I get a set of pistons to work. Kinda want to keep the stock rods.

2. If I can use the stock pistons would ceramic coating them help with longevity? I am from the wonderful world of Rotaries and when you ceramic coat the face of the rotors it cuts down on heat damage to the rotors.

3. Does any one have a part number for the stubby shaft and the spacer for the crank to elimanate the b shafts?

Going to shot for 450whp on the stroker with a 20g.

Thanks

What do you need a stroker for? A 20G doesn't need one to be streetable. Also, 450whp is pushing it. Racegas at all times?

Yeah, the 20g is gonna be getting pushed hard for 450whp, better be a TD06 housing on it.

What hyundai block do you have? 6 cyl, 4 cyl, 2.4, 2.0, 1.6???

A Sonata block is not a "stroker" unless you're putting a larger crank in than it came with. A 2.4 is not a stroker.

so technical! its the 2.4 block. I may get another turbo, but it will be broke in on the 20g. Planing on large injectors and E85 maybe some water or methanol injection.

The 4g63 pistons will obviously not work with the larger bore of the 2.4. Check the other active thread, 2.3 vs. 2.4. That goes over some of it. Do a search, this has been gone through several times.

Keep us posted on the E85 progress. I was getting close to trying it, but never did. What kind of fuel system are you going to? The stock system won't cut it. You need a lot more fuel with E85 than with gas. It will also be hard on the stock rubber lines, so they need to be stainless.

Oh dear god, why? What is this E85 craze?! Why pay race gas prices for a worthless product?

Since when is E85 at race gas price levels?

Since you have to burn atleast twice as much of it. It has no long carbon chains...it's a dead fuel. No power...wasteful to make...worthless to the world. Fuck the farmers, corn is worthless.

Wow, definitely impressive.
