I am stuck at work right now, everyone from the day shift called in (8 people). I am on some OT making 50 bucks an hour to sit here and do nothing since there is hardly any customers here.

The chefs made all the employees a breakfast buffet since we cannot leave, they closed all the roads down here for safety reasons. I got a free jacuzzi sweet for later as well since I cannot leave since I am the only one in charge. Its totally crazy, we have about 12 inches of wet ass snow. Even the plows are getting stuck in the parking lot.

The employee and customer lots have had about 15 accidents so far. I will probably be here until late tonight. Pretty cool all the snow though, I am looking out my office window right now as they try to plow the lots. They can't plow the snow because its so heavy.

Crazy shit. Anywhere else all snowed in? Good stories?

It's dry and the sun is trying to peak out down here. I hope it doesn't snow here, I have to go to Omaha first thing tomorrow morning.

It's hitting here in Central WI pretty good right now. I heard there was an 18 wheeler on its side over by Chippewa Falls somewhere.

PS- I would mind make 50 bucks an hour to do nothing :D

Took the Jeep in this morning, made it almost a mile and turned it around to head home and stay in. Seeing 2 cars and a snow plow in the ditch was enough to say "fuck it, it's not worth the 4 hours in traffic".

So we are kicking it chicken-wing style at home today.

Damn, it was just crazy out there this morning. I actually went to school and ended up rear ending this F-150 truck just barely. Good thing his car was unscratched and mine just had a crack in the front bumper, so we were both good to just leave it. Then on the way home I saw this white 2G spyder get sideways on a bridge that goes from 694 to 35e South. There was no way I was going to stop before it, so I went on the left shoulder, got as close the the guard rails as I could going like 5-10 mph if even. I was inches away from scratching the rail and bumping the eclipse that covered both lanes. Man, I love AWD. Then I had a lil fun before I got home, nothing too crazy. Now I'm gonna log onto WoW and stay indoors.

It took me longer to clean off my truck than it did to actually drive to work. AWD is cool, but havings 4 wheel drive and driving through 24" snow drifts like they're worn out speed bumps is much cooler. :D

Yea I made it to work too and it wasnt too bad, cleaning off the car took longer and more effort than driving. Its 15 miles for me but it only took me an extra 10 mins. My classes werent cancelled for tonight and that pisses me off!

Wish I had the day off and had our snowmobiles down here so I could just go tear it up.
