ok guys, I've got a bad injector. (#3 if it matters) So, I'm wondering about replacing either the one bad one, or getting a whole set. I'm thinking that buying a whole set would be the way to go, as long as I'm tearing it apart to put in one. I guess the big question is, how big can I go without having to buy much else to run them. I have a dejon tool intake, k&n cone filter, MBC. So, how big, and what else do I need I guess.

Stock 450s will be plenty for your mods. If you want to upgrade though I would suggest 550s. If you upgrade injectors you will need some sort of fuel controller like a super AFC. If you don't plan on doing anymore mods I would just put another stock one in and call it good.

If I go with 550s, would I need anything more than a safc to start? I'm sure I will be doing more mods later on.

get a 2g MAS, or a SAFC.

What kinda cost am I looking at for the injectors and a good safc, and what brands are the best?

550's used can be had for $150, and a 2G MAF can be had for $50. You'll also need the 2G harness plug for it, which you can probably get if you get it from the local boneyard. I've seen SAFC's for as low as $100. The real shiznit would be a VPC, which are going for about $350 these days. This gets rid of your MAF, and is the simplest tuning device you'll ever use. A set of 550's and a VPC is all the fuel compensation you need up to 400+ whp.

If I get a 2G MAF, do I need to swap out my new Dejon Tool intake that I bought? or will it still work?
