How much do you know about DSMs? Its usually better to get something that is unmodded. I know that car isnt modded much. You would be suprised what people can mess up though.

Dane remember that car we looked at in like chaplin? haha that thing was a PILE!

just my $.02

I know quite a bit, I helped my friend rebuild his motor, and since i used to own a Nt one i know how much they need their maintence. Plus i have quite a few friends who know alot about em, so if i had questions id go here, or ask them. And I just love these cars, and how it feels to drive them.

Plus that car seems like its owned by a DSM lover like us

well i doubt i might be able to get a loan.. I've never bought a car like that before, and I pretty much have no credit.

With the way interest rates have gone up I'd hate to see what a bank will charge you since you have virtually no credit, if you can even get a loan. Do you have a co-signer?

Well I can probabally get my parents to co-sign. If they say i dunno. then i gotta tell em how bad i want to get it.

And I would give the bank 500 down, so they might like that

Personal loan at 10+% with a cosigner.

Do you have any money to put down?

You should find out if a reputable shop or someone who knows DSMs did the head and t-belt. Ususally when someone says the t-belt and head were done it means the t-belt broke and bent some valves, could have even done some more damage. It would be worth looking into if you are serious about it.Car looks pretty clean otherwise.

I know if a car is older than 1998, then you can't get a decent interest rate like 5%. It is possible to get an auto loan but you'll take a hit on the interest rate. It's better than a personal loan IMO, since typical personal loans are > 18%.

Thats how it was for me may be different you.
