You guys know if there's a sport around the twin cities area or nearby that re-polishes rims. If so, you guys know the price range for all 4 rims? My rims are crappy looking rite now, and it was like that when I got it. Probably wont do it now but when springs around the corner, I would like to get it re-polished up again so it'll look nice.

What do you mean by re-polished? Are they polished aluminum and are simply tarnished? Are they chrome and need to be re-plated? Are they painted and need to be stripped and re-painted? Details are you friend.

There was actually a pretty good write-up on repainting rims on MNSC. Check it out:

Opps! My badd! They're chromed. You know? Like silver and shiny, glossy looking. So I guess I don't exactly know what I need to do to get it to look all new, shiny, and chrome looking again.

Chrome can be brought back to life with a simple chrome polish you can pick up at any auto parts store or even wal-mart.. depending on what kind of shape they're in. But if they're rusted try that write up on MNSC. Try some polish and some elbow grease first.. you'll save yourself some money.

First, figure out if they are chrome, or polished aluminum.

You can have polished aluminum that looks like chrome. Then when you figure that out, come back to us for advice that will get you where you want to be, instead of having you possibly mess up your rims.

They're chrome. I'm pretty sure that it's not aluminum.

Pretty sure does not cut it. Determine which they are for sure and then ask for help.

Looks like chrome, right??

That is just a plain aluminum wheel that has been polished. No powdercoat, chrome dipping, paint, nothing. Just sandpaper, polish, and time.
