I went around asking people if they wanted 2 mint 1G white doors a while back. Nobody wanted them
Sure as sh*t, the day that they were thrown away, I get a call from my buddy Matt his car was broken into last night at around 1AM
His car, being stock, thankfully retained the security system, which was what woke him up.
he went outside, his window was broken, and nothing was taken.
There is no room in the garage for him, so he always parks at the bottom of the driveway, facing outward, on the right side of the driveway, and he leaves zero room on the passenger side, because he needs to give tons of room for his dads truck to get out in the morning.
His Dads truck has already hit his car and broken one of the rear backup lights. (drunk old bastard in a GMC)
Heres the interesting thing: there were no footprints in the snow. Nothing was taken out of the car (2 huge subwoofers, nice deck...cds....etc)
So he called the cops and filed a report ect......the cops said DUE TO THE WARM WEATHER WE ARE HAVING ALOT OF BREAK INs.
after all the commotion he tried to go back to bed, but he was too pissed off to actually fall asleep.
At about 3AM there was a late model dark civic parked outside his house next to his car, by the time he ran outside with his shotgun they were gone.
So keep your car inside, and IF IT GETS BROKEN INTO, park the darn thing inside after the incident. Dont leave it for the ricers to get into after the dust has settled.
his car is a 1990 TSi AWD, but it has a bright red coat of paint, and some bling-y 17"s, and the subwoofers are quite visible.
I have a dented up, dark green, GVR4 with stock rims and a cracked windshield, and the whole car is covered in black crap (needs a car wash quite badly) most everyone would think at first glance that the car is not even driveable.
But some of the other members' rides are quite pretty and are probably at risk. (JET, you might want to get guard dogs for that runway full of cars) Oh, this all happened by bass lake road and 494, so its a little south of where I live.....but you know those civics, they can go quite a distance on one tank of gas.
