i'll pay federal around 140-160

and i'll get around 450 back on state

i need to buy a condo or house to shelter my money.

I claim anything between 0-10 depending on the time and rough calculations that I do.

You will have to pay tax on those stocks you sold so figure roughly that will eat up about 1/3 of your profit on them.
Crap.... I just hope I break even at this point then....

How nice would it be to claim taxes effectively so most of that money is included in the paychecks rather than giving the government an interest-free loan?

I agree with you, Hughes. I just must not be claiming as efficient as I could. I do look forward to this time with returns though.. it's kind of nice to bounce back from Christmas.
