I found the problem with my starion. It runs better when you unplug the electronics that run the car. Me and Andy (conquests) got my quest running tonight, and all it took was unplugging the Mass Air Sensor.
I think all this thing needs is a Holley Double Pumper Carb and it will run 11's.

Reid never lies. The ECU runs the clock and that's it! :D

LOL, glad she is running!! Are you going to try a different MAS? Wire in a 1G DSM one, but do it the way Reid did it (I think it just required a few wires to be swapped around).

Yeah, homes. Use a 1G DSM MAS and it'll run better than ever. That doesn't say much in your case but it will be good either way.

I have a 1g mas, not modified at all, and it idles just fine, so that is better than the 2 starquest MAS's I had sitting around.
Reid, you got a wiring diagram anywhere for the real way to do the 1g mas without the 1g pigtail?
And yes, everytime we unplugged something (TPS, ISC, MAS) it actually ran better, and when we got to the MAS it ran fine.

The wiring diagram is in my driveway. I think I have one in the garage on top of the old chairs, too.

you have a spare one that is wired up already??
Otherwise I will want to see that, or maybe have you write it down for me so I know how to wire mine up.
I can just switch my wires around in the starion plug, right?

no. the starion plug is worthless. Use the DSM plug.

aeromotive "1000 hp" fuel filter
Where did you get that? I have only heard of the aeromotive 100 and 10 micron filters.
