Until DSMlink has the option to ditch the MAS i see no gains in this for a 1G.

No gains over what? AFC/logger/Eprom chip combo?

I have had one in the car for almost a year now. Only 2 things I dont like are the clutch operated launch control and "anti lag" features. I think the whole point of the DSMLink is to give us more tuning options without costing stand alone AEM money. I dont think it was originally designed for the super high horsepower cars that obviously dont have much need for the MAS or other factory goodies. If I could actually tune I would have gone AEM just for the other things that it can do.

Any documentation of what people have done in numbers on the Link? With LSE's help we are planning on doing a real tune on it and bringing it out for a straight run or two just for fun. All on Rally tires if they will let us.

yeah i figured that, the way they worded it on the site made it seem like it just came out. guess they need to update it.

I made 451whp with a GM maf, afc, and Diver chip.

I dont see the need for the link either. Does it control timing? Thats the important thing. I havent really looked into it since I went with the AEM.

How can you not see a need if you don't know what it does? ;)

I think they fill a nice gap between devices most people use for budget race-gas/full throttle tuning and full stand alones. It works good for a pump gas street car.

Well for the simple fact I made 451whp without it. Also was running 11.3's without it.

Just dont think for the average DSMer not looking to go sick the DSMLink is necessary when they can net the same results with a GM MAF and AFC.
